Reflection on Microsoft Excel

Excel is very useful to a variety of different types of people, making it meet the principle of equitable use. For example, Excel can be useful to teachers, students, business workers, moms and dads on a budget, etc. Excel can create simple spreadsheets, graphs, tables and can also generate percentages, formulas. Excel also has a low physical effort, meaning it is not too difficult to use and does not require much effort to understand. The rows and columns  are also re-sizable for whatever the users wanted size. This type of technology does not meet the size and space approach and use design since it does not require any additional components (in a physical way) to accommodate to a user’s body size, posture, mobility, etc.

TIME LAPSE

When my teacher tells us to make a time lapse I freaked out because that is my first time to hear the word "time lapse" and i really don't have an idea how to make it. It's a big challenge to me to take a thousand of photos for me to create a time lapse. I have so many subjects in my mind but I don't know how to start. My first idea should be animals or plants anything that has connection to environment. My first subject should be an ant, but there are so many hindrances. It’s too hard to take a shot from time to time because they are so many ways to bring their food. I thought that their just have one place to meet up and have a one storage of food. I also think that my subject should be sunrise or sunset but my classmates already choose it. So I changed my mind, instead of having relation to environment I choose to have a human being subject. I talked to my cousin to play with me a puzzle while my camera is set in a shutter mode to take us pictures. It took us 40-50mins before we finished the puzzle. After taking a thousand of pictures, it's time for me to create a time lapse. My classmates gave me an application called "videomach" it is time lapse video maker. It is easy to use because it will automatically arrange your pictures in proper order so that the pictures will orderly play from the first shot up until to the last shot. I can easily manage the application because it has an instruction and tutor. The only problem that I encountered using this application is it took me so long to wait while processing the video. I waited half an hour just to process the video I had made. I think one of the factors why it took me so long because my pictures have large pixels because I used digicam. Through this application, I can also put music in my time lapse. All i have to do is to drag the music that i want to put in my time lapse. I can adjust how long/short the music that will fit on my time lapse video. I can filter or put effects in every picture that I want to edit. I am really thankful to know this application because it helped me a lot in doing my time lapse video.

Quipper School

As a future teacher, if I will be given a chance to have a choice what online tool I will going to use Quipper.com. I will recommend it to my co teachers because it is easy to use. It was also entertaining to the students.  It is enjoyable and there's a game on it. One thing that I’d liked most on this online tool is it has already a lesson indicated. You can also make a quiz, assignments and exam. And the advantage on it as a teacher, you can easily download the result of the exams, quizzes, or even your assignments. It will automatically appear in excel type. Quipper can also send a copy of the results of the activities of your students through your email account as a back up or copy of yours. It is enjoyable because there's entertainment, the students or even the teachers can use this entertainment. You can change the background of your dashboard or even your profile but it has a payment, how can you pay it? Every time you open your account, your money will increase.  Your students will enjoy as well as they are learning. The students can also change their profile picture for you as a teacher can easily identify who is the student in your account. Another advantage of this online tool is not all students online can able to join your account because you as a teacher have a code that will serve as a password for them to join to your account. In teacher account, you can create a separate class in one account. Like for example, you want to have a separate class in your subject class in section 2. You can also create another class in your subject matter in other section in just one account only.

To create an account in Quipper, first you have to fill up the information flash in your screen. Its just an personal information so it’s not hard for you to fill up, there’s no computation or something. Just your personal information only.  Second, you have to verify your quipper account through your email account. If you don’t have an email account, I think it’s time for you to create. Lastly, you need to clarify the information that you indicate in your account. Everything that you had input in your personal information can also change in your setting once you already create your account. The code of your students will flash in your account after you created your account.

One of my biggest dream is to go to South Korea. Look around to their places and go to their beautiful tourists spot. As for now, I'm just editing my picture professed that i'm already in their places. With the help of Photoshop I can edit my pics acting like i'm already in south Korea. For now, I'm happy to see myself in edited picture looking that i'm in Korea. But I will much happier if I will go there and take a picture originally. Someday, After I graduated and find a job I will go there together with my family to fulfil my dreams :)

Jethro & Ayesha Love Quarrel. The story of this video is scripted and this is not based on the true story of us. I just want to clarify that we are just classmates and friends :D 

In this story, Jethro here is Ayesha's boyfriend. They just go somewhere to hang out and have fun. While go across to pedestrian lane they crossroads the ex of  jethro. The girl here is not yet move on in their past and wanted to bring back their past relationship thats why she keep on looking to jethro. 

Jethro still have a feelings to her ex but he really want to forget her. But, when they finally crossroads the girl, he can't force his self not to look at her ex. The reason why Ayesha get jealous and got angry to her boyfriend. They start quarrel at the middle of pedestrian lane. She walked away and left jethro.

My first Adobe Photoshop :) Meet my friends Jolina, Ate Ja, Joy and Myself J I remove one of them in the picture. It took me 2 hours to edit that because it’s really hard for me to control the mouse because it’s my first time. But I believe that practice makes perfect J I would like to take this opportunity to say sorry to my friend Ate Jeanette because I chose her to remove in our picture. I don’t have any hurt feelings to her, I just want her to remove because I think much easier for me. I love you Ate Ja! :)

When I heard to my teacher Mrs. Olivar the topic that she will be going to discuss about her subject matter which is “Photoshop” I was shocked at the same time I felt excitement because I didn’t expect that one of the topic in Education Technology is Photoshop. I felt excitement because before I just heard the word Photoshop, I try to use it but I really don’t have an idea how to operate it.

In the 4^th week of our class, our teacher introduces to us how to operate Photoshop. I was really surprise and amazed because there’s a revelation to me that Photoshop is like a magic. It can help our pictures to become more beautiful than what we expected. On the following weeks meeting together to discuss about Photoshop I was really amazed to the point that I’m acting like a child saying that “WOW! Pano nangyari yun!?” :D Now I can say that nothing is impossible in Photoshop.  I learn that Photoshop is not just adjusting the color, brightness, crop, etc. It can also change your background and you can bring yourself to one place to another. You can bring yourself anywhere and everywhere. It’s a matter of “one click” in Photoshop. One thing that I will never forget in discussion about Photoshop is removing the people that you wanted to remove in your pictures. I learn that you can remove the unnecessary thing or people whether it is beside you, in front of you or maybe at your back. That is the magic of Photoshop.

I think one thing that I need to do is to memorize the icon which is not familiar to me in Photoshop so that I can easily find it out and I can easily finished the pictures that I want to edit.  Also, it’s just a matter of practice.

History of Education Technology

I was really amazed on how modern technology can influence our daily life. I wondered how technology created on the first place. I know everybody will admit to themselves that modern technology can give comforts in our daily life. Technology can contribute a lot not just in our daily life but also in industry, company, and most importantly in Education. Being an education student at TUP-T, I'm glad to know that one of our subjects in this sem is "Education Technology". When I heard the word Education Technology, the first thing that comes into my mind is we will be going to study about modern technology and how it will apply to education. When my teacher introduces to us the history of education technology, I learned that our ancestor already used the technology since then. From 300 B.C up until today technology can really help especially in education. I believe that inventing technology in every generation is inevitable. On a video that my teacher showed to us about the history of education technology timeline, I saw to our ancestors the diligence to go to school and to learn using the technology what they have. It was impressive because at the very time they are using even the simple materials for them to learn. We are so really lucky in this generation because we have technology which can really help us to our study. Before, we cannot easily find or research about something that we wanted to learn but today, just go to the internet and just simply click to different site that that you wanted to learn.

One of my Oldest Hamster. I don't know how to express my feelings since I encounter this Hamster in my life. I remember the day I bought him in a small store somewhere in Alabang. It's cute that's why I bought it. Honestly, that time I really don't have a passion in taking care of animals. But when I saw this hamster there is something touches my heart to buy it. It was christmas time so I decided to buy it as a gift to myself. One month from now, He will going to celebrate his first birthday :) I was so excited.
